Q: What is the price of your amplifiers?
A: We are a US manufacturer which sells to dealers domestically and distributors outside the US. Bolt is committed to building and selling the highest quality guitar amplifiers at the best price possible. Please contact our dealers for pricing information.
Q: What is the warranty on Bolt amplifiers?
A: Bolt provides a two year warranty on its amplifiers, one year on speakers, and 90 days on tubes. See warranty section on our website for more information.
Q: What tubes do you use in your amplifier?
A: Bolt amplifiers use Ruby Tubes 6L6GC in the power amp and Electro-Harmonix 12AX7EH in the preamp.
Q: Can I use EL34 power tubes in your amplifier?
A: Yes, Bolt 100 and 50 watt amplifiers will accept EL34 power tubes. There is a bias switch to adjust the bias range for EL34's. As with any new power tube installation, the bias should be readjusted by a qualified technician.
Q: What speakers do you use in your cabinets?
A: Bolt speaker cabinets use 12" Celestion Vintage 30 or G12T-75 and 10" Eminence Legend Series model 1058.
